Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia, is an actress and model. She was first known as Pepper Steiger in Australia. This role she played during the 100 episodes of the soap opera Neighbors which aired from 2006 to 2007 made her famous in Australia. Her first project to be a part of Hollywood was a comedy based on choral singing Hollywood & Wine, where she played an actress that is newly arrived in Hollywood. She then landed a role as Maya, a very seductive medical student in Scrubs' ninth season. The show was then abruptly canceled. After that, she continued filming the Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Then she played in B-series film and short series. 2013 was the year she had the opportunity to tackle more difficult assignments. She was featured in six episodes of the show about detectives, Franklin and Bash, and she was then offered her first part as a regular in the online series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. She is also the answer to Chad Michael Murray for the series' first two seasons. Following that she appeared in the supporting roles for two films with airplane scenes: Aircraft 7500, One Way Back on the SyFy Channel, along with a team of actors from the television industry and Le Chaos (an action film with Nicolas Cage).
