Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn is a member of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, combined her literary abilities and outstanding research skills into an outstanding biography of Joseph Smith. No Man was aware of My History appeared in 1945. The title came from a funeral sermon given by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844. He shocked his listeners by declaring: You don't know me you never knew my heart. My history is not known to anyone. It's impossible for me to reveal it. Fawn was a 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment there have been at least three writers who have stood up to the challenge. Many have abhorred him and some have praised. Few have made an assessment. The documents are not there, but the fact that they're contradictory. To assemble the documents -in order to distinguish first-hand sources from a third-party plagiarism and then fit Mormon and non Mormon stories together to form a credible mosaic is no easy job. It is both interesting as well as eye-opening. FawnBrodie embraced this professional project with gusto and enthusiasm. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her work and the fruits of her research. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historiography (1974).
