Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother, who also loved watching movies. Paula was active in the co-curricular activities of her school and especially captivated by drama. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates and was a part of school productions. She acted in many productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a profession. She was a student at in the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved it. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. She started as production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her assignment. Following the completion of her project and completing her documentary, she began producing films. The work was enjoyable but was determined to be an actor. She started her career in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. In the years since, she's been in a variety of popular films as well as TV series.
