Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her plays as a child and watching her mom doing her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Anna relocated to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to further her acting career. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in 2009.
