Seasons 1-8 see shippers making bids on two of the shipments listed on uShip. This is an auction reverse format. The bids are typically presented with specific remarks on the costs and risks and their motives and capabilities. If the time limit has expired for an auction the job will be given to the bidder who has the lowest bid. At the discretion of the customer, however it could be awarded to bidders with an average rating of higher over previous customers. If the bidder is lowest there will be a tie broken by feedback ratings. Season 9 is when shippers are receiving their loads from a shipping agent. Bidding isn't shown. Shippers load their cargos and try to deliver it in perfect order by the deadline set by the receiver or client. Once the goods have been delivered, the feedback ratings are provided by clients. The episode ends with the revenue of each shipper and expenses. To determine the profits or loss, the amount of bids is subtracted. Sometimes, a shipper might plan to transport additional loads in the same trip. This will be added to their total. Sometimes, the shipper may not be able complete an assignment due to concerns regarding the weight of the load and road safety. Sometimes, one shipper will enlist the services of a third party to complete the job. The two shippers decide on how to divide the proceeds. Seasons 1-8 are filled with hilarious criticisms from other shippers.
